The day my parents arrived, the church had a wonderful dinner for us to celebrate the fact that we got our own space, even if it was temporary. It was filled with wonderful food and fellowship. The members of River of Life are extremely generous and filled our pantry with food and paper products. I'm not sure I've ever been as excited to get toilet paper. We have a fantastic church family and we are grateful for each and every one of them. My parents also had a good time meeting and talking with everyone.
The rest of the week seemed to fly by in a matter of seconds. Well, for Hans I'm sure it crawled by. Poor guy was sick. But don't feel too bad for him. He managed to get everyone else in the house sick, including my parents.
Anders enjoyed playing with wrapping paper.
John loves having Grandpa read to him.
Playing "puppet show" with John and Gus. I should have video taped this because the conversations were hilarious.
John is crouching down and holding Mickey, so he gets the idea of a puppet show. Gus, however, needs help.
The boys couldn't believe they were allowed to get behind the furniture like this. They had a great time.
Lots of fun = lots of sleep.
The sicko who infected the house. He is a pretty handsome sicko, though.
Since Grandma was here, we had to build a great big track that took up half of the living room. John is picking out the trains he wants to use. That pile next to him represents about a quarter of his trains, maybe less. We have a lot of trains. Seriously.
We had many other fun filled days, but it was just too much to post at once. Check back in for more fun filled adventures.
