Caterpillar Open House

We have a member of the church who works for Caterpillar and was thoughtful enough to invite us to an open house and demonstration.  On a side note - I just love, love, love that members not only think about us in this way, but that they also know what our kids will like.  Boys and big machinery are just made for each other.  Unfortunately, I had to work that day, but Hans braved the outing with the three boys.  Now that I think about it, this may have been the first time he took all three boys some place other than a grocery store.  What a good and brave dad and husband.

I only have a few pictures from the day because cameras were not allowed inside.  But the boys are still talking about the events of the day.  Some type of machinery crushed a whole refrigerator and another crushed a watermelon.  Gus really liked the crushing of the watermelon.  The messier the better.

All four of the boys had a fantastic time.  Thank you Paul and Pam for thinking of us!
