Cleaning: Part 2

I know you all stayed up last night wondering if the boys cleaned the playroom.  Well, this is what the room looked like this morning...

If you thought, as I did, that the boys were going to man-up and clean then you would be wrong.  Just as I was.  Sadly I came home from work to discover that the playroom was just as I had left it.  We are not parents who give empty threats, so I rolled up my sleeves and got to work.

This is all of the confiscated stuff.  Not sure what my system will be for getting it back, but I don't even need to think about that for at least a week.

Lol! I was curious to see if they would get it done. I've done the same thing with my girls and I allowed them to slowly earn them back. The sad thing is sometimes the bag of toys were put away for months and they didn't even miss anything because they have TOO MUCH STUFF! That was when we decided to clean house and they had to donate some of their things. Thankfully, they were happy to do that.

The joys of parenting! :)

Yep, I think we will be donating things as well. The sad thing is that we just went through a lot of their stuff last month when we had a garage sale.

Thanks for the update. I was wondering what happened. Maybe they'll learn to put their favorite toys away first next time! :0)
